- Gas and smoke flues should be made of incombustible materials.
- Fire box should be placed on an incombustible base of at least 0,15 m thickness. Metal stove without legs on a base 0,3 m thick. Easily inflammable floor in front of fire box door should be protected with incombustible material. The material should be at least 0,3 m wide and should protrude at least 0,3 m on each side of the door.
- Open fire box can be used in room with no explosion threat. It can be placed at least 0,6 m from easily inflammable parts of the building. In rooms with wooden ceiling the box should have a hood made of incombustible material. The hood should protrude at least 0,3 m beyond the box edges.
- Metal stove or stove in metal frames, connecting pipes and soot holes should be placed at least 0,6 m from easily inflammable and unprotected constructional parts of the building, and at least 0,3 m from parts covered with 25 mm thick plaster board or similar board.
- Stove made of stone, bricks or tails and similar incombustible materials, as well as smoke and gas flues should be placed at least 0,3 m from easily inflammable and unprotected constructional parts of the building, and at least 0,15 m from parts covered with 25 mm thick plaster board or similar board.
